New Pullman Singapore Hill Street general manager appointed
a 25-year hospitality veteran, Mr. Mazen Abilmona, was assigned a new role as the new general manager of Pullman Singapore Hill Street on Sept 6. operated by the hospitality group Accor, The 350-key hotel will start operation on Oct 1. Abilmona graduated from hospitality management and resumed head role as an F&B service manager in 2001 at Fairmont Dubai, rising to director role by 2007. He has also spear headed rebranding tasks in hospitality, including Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai, Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort in Hainan and Fairmont Riyadh in the Saudi capital. Abilmona specialty role is food and beverages focused hospitality properties across the Middle East, China and Singapore. Before moving to the hotel and F&B operations and leadership roles across various Sofitel properties, He also served as cluster hotel manager of both Sofitel Singapore Resort and Spa and SO/Singapore. Abilmona says In a press release, the hotel target to establish “the ideal playground” where “there are always new things for guests to discover”. He elaborated: “While I’ve actively participated with countless pre-openings and properties, it’s a brand new role and awareness this time, with a brief that spurs me to view things from a different perspective…. but my team and I are up for the new environment and extremely elated to explore the boundaries!”.
